معرض كانتون الـ140
قوانغتشو
15 أكتوبر إلى 4 نوفمبر 2026

The 140th Canton Fair runs in Guangzhou from 15 October to 4 November 2026, split into three phases. We'll be there for all of them. This note is our plan, written down so we stick to it.

How the three phases split

  • Phase 1, 15 to 19 October: electronics, household appliances, lighting, hardware, tools, machinery and vehicles.
  • Phase 2, 23 to 27 October: kitchenware, household goods, gifts, home decor, furniture and building materials.
  • Phase 3, 31 October to 4 November: textiles and garments, shoes, bags, toys, office supplies, health products and food.

The organisers move a few categories around from one edition to the next, so check the official floor plan before you plan a trip around a single hall.

What we'll actually be doing

Looking for factories, not booths. A good booth tells you who paid for good space. We want to know who owns the production line, how long they've been exporting and which certificates they can show on paper, not just mention.

Asking the boring questions. Minimum order quantities, lead times in peak season, payment terms, who prepares the export documents, what samples cost and how fast they ship. The boring answers are usually where a deal works or falls apart.

Photographing what matters. Finish, seams, packaging, labels and the small print on the carton. Not the booth.

Writing prices down as ranges, with context. A single number at a fair means very little. A price with a quantity, an Incoterm and a lead time next to it means something.

What we're curious about this time

Our buyers are mostly in Switzerland and the Gulf, so we'll spend extra time on:

  • Kitchenware and home goods built to last more than a season.
  • Small appliances that already carry the right marks for Europe and the Gulf, or a supplier who knows how to get them.
  • Packaging that cuts waste without making the product look cheap.
  • Textiles where the supplier can tell you where the fibre actually came from.

How to use us while we're there

Send us a short brief before the phase you care about: the product, rough volumes, a target price and where it needs to end up. We'll check it on the floor, ask the questions you'd ask, and send you photos and notes within a few days of that phase closing. If it doesn't look like a fit, we'll say so.

When it's all over we'll write up what we found. If you want that recap in your inbox, leave your email on the fairs page.
